Why independent oversight matters
AI vendors increasingly send their own engineers to customer sites to build solutions on the vendor’s platform. This can speed things up, but analysts have flagged recurring risks: dependence on the people who built it, knowledge and IP leaking between customers, usage and licence costs that nobody is tracking, and information flowing back to the vendor’s sales team. Those risks are manageable if someone on your side is watching for them.

Typical prices (excluding VAT): a one-off deployment review is £750–£1,500 depending on the documents and complexity, with a written report within 5 working days of receiving them. Ongoing oversight through build and handover is £600–£900 a month (3-month minimum). We confirm a fixed price after a free 30-minute scoping call.

What is independent AI deployment oversight?

Is this the same as hiring an AI consultant to build it?
No. Oversight means we represent you while someone else builds. We can also build, but we will say clearly which role we are in, and we will never recommend a platform because we are paid by it.
Do you give legal advice on AI contracts?
No. We review the technical and commercial side, such as usage terms, cost exposure and IP ownership in practice. For contract wording you should take advice from a solicitor, and we can tell you which questions to put to them.
Can you work with a project that is already under way?
Yes. A mid-project review is often the best time, because it is still possible to fix ownership, documentation and cost controls before launch.
